The Bears have a long tradition of existence, both to themselves and the softball community at large. The 2004 edition of the Hayward Daily Review Bears finished the season in second place with an 8-4 record. The campaign had many ups and downs, but overall it was a lot of fun as the scrappy Bears provided some wonderful entertainment for their fans on most Thursday nights during the spring and summer of 2004. The ballclub has thrilled fans nationwide since their inception in 1971, and 2002 was no exception as they entertained the fans in every way imaginable on the way to their second championship in five seasons. We hope you enjoy your visit here as the site contains some great material that should keep even the casual Bears fan enthralled for a few minutes. Every active Bear is featured on his own page so you can learn more about your favorite players.
